Mathis Leads Lake Land To Quiz Bowl Win

Lake Land College's Logan Mathis single-handedly claimed the championship of the Kansas Quiz Bowl.

The event was contested online because of Covid. Lake Land College finished 7-0.

Mathis beat one team, 390-0 and in the championship game, he beat a Johnson County team from Kansas, 210-170. That team had finished third in Nationals last year in Florida.

Mathis also was the No. 1 toss-up and finished with 73 toss-ups and second place had 48. He received two trophies.
