NASCAR Playoff Race Rescheduled For Today, Hopefully

The NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Texas was delayed for another day Monday due to weather, with misty conditions and temperatures in the low 40s.

They'll try again today, but the forecast is similar. Only 52 of the scheduled 334 laps were completed Sunday before mist and drizzle forced the race to stop and be postponed, but no laps were gotten in Monday.

Another 115 laps have to be completed to get to the halfway mark that would make it an official race. There are still three open spots for the championship race in the season finale, and the only other race before that is Sunday at Martinsville.
