Sports Figures React To Killing

Several sports figures reacted to the news Wednesday that no charges were being brought against the Louisville, Kentucky, police officers who killed 26-year-old Black EMT Breonna Taylor.

The L.A. Lakers’ Lebron James tweeted, “I’m devastated, hurt, sad, mad!” Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo said, “She’s dead. Somebody killed her. At the end of the day, you need justice for that.” Colin Kaepernick also reacted, tweeting: “The white supremacist institution of policing that stole Breonna Taylor’s life from us must be abolished for the safety and well being of our people.”
