Pro Sports Arenas To Be Used As Voting Centers

Eight major pro sports teams have signed on to a plan to have their home arenas be used as voting “super centers” this fall, providing the large spaces for safer in-person voting during the pandemic.

Four NBA teams participating so far -- the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards -- as well as the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, MLB’s Boston Red Sox and the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and Washington Capitals.
