Jon Jones Vacates UFC Light Heavyweight Title

Jon Jones announced on Twitter Monday that he's vacated the UFC light heavyweight title.

Jones, who's held the title on and off for nearly a decade, tweeted: “It's officially up for grabs.” He said in another tweet that he'll negotiate with the UFC on a potential fight as a heavyweight. The 33-year-old Jones has the longest unbeaten streak in UFC history at 18, and his only career loss came in 2009 via disqualification.
