FC Dallas Won't Participate in MLS is Back Tourney

Major League Soccer announced Monday that FC Dallas won't participate in the MLS is Back Tournament because of a high number of positive tests for the coronavirus on the team.

Since FC Dallas arrived at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando on June 27 ahead of the tournament, the team has had 10 players and one member of its technical staff test positive.

Among the other 25 teams, only three players have tested positive. The tournament that ends MLS' coronavirus suspension will run from July 8 through August 11.
