Jones Posts Disc Golf Win in Indiana

Area disc golfer Mark Jones posted a sudden death victory Saturday at the 2020 Firefly Open in Bowling Green, Indiana.

Jones shot a -6 in his first round, then went -3 in his second round. Raynaldo Esquivel, though, fired a -7 in his second round, leaving both players at -9 at the end of regulation. Jones prevailed in the playoff to capture the win in the Advanced Division.

Area disc golfer Ben Ruholl also competed at the tournament in the Recreational Division and captured first place, shooting a +1, and winning by five.
