There will be legal betting on the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest for the first time this year.

Gaming officials in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Colorado approved betting on the event, which takes place annually on July 4. Twelve-time winner Joey Chestnut is favored to win the men’s contest, and six-time champ Miki Sudo is favored for the women.
