FBI Investigation Concludes NASCAR Driver Wallace Not the Vicitim of a Hate Crime

In a statement Tuesday, NASCAR says the FBI has concluded that Bubba Wallace, the sport's only African American driver, was not the victim of a hate crime after allegedly finding what was reported to be a noose in his team garage.

The report indicates the investigation found that the rope in question had been fashioned as a noose for a garage door pull rope, and had been there as early as the fall of 2019, prior to Wallace and his team using the garage.
