NASCAR Will Resume Season May 17

NASCAR said Thursday that it will resume its season on May 17, with an elite Cup series Race at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina.

That will be the first of seven races over 11 days in the top three series, with no fans at any of them. Safety guidelines will include the drivers having to self-isolate in their motor homes as they prepare to compete. NASCAR suspended its season on March 13 after only four races.
