The St. Louis Blues’ Jay Bouwmeester will miss the rest of the NHL season and any playoff appearances after his collapse on the bench during a February 11 game, it was announced Wednesday. The 36-year-old has had a defibrillator implanted that can deliver a shock to the heart if there's an arrhythmia to restore a regular heartbeat. Bouwmeester said he hasn’t thought about his future in the NHL, saying, “There’s decisions I’m going to have to make. That will come later.”
