Blues Sign Coach Craig Berube To Contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed coach Craig Berube to a three-year contract. Berube was technically still the interim head coach when he led the Blues to the Stanley Cup Championship, although the team had said he was the only candidate for the job.


Orpik Announces Retirement

Brooks Orpik has announced his retirement from the NHL after 15 seasons. Orpik won the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009 and the Washington Capitals in 2018.


Coyotes Acquire Soderberg

The Arizona Coyotes have acquired forward Carl Soderberg from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Kevin Connauton and a third-round pick in the 2020 draft.


Wickenheiser Leads Inductees

Hayley Wickenheiser leads this year’s inductees into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Hayley won four Olympic gold medals and one silver. She also won seven gold medals and six silvers in world championships. Other inductees include former NHL players Sergei Zubov and Guy Carbonneau.
