NHL Issues Apology to Knights, Blues Win

The NHL issued an apology to the Vegas Golden Knights for that controversial major penalty call in Game 7 of their playoff series against the San Jose Sharks. The five-minute penalty led to four goals on the same power play and San Jose eventually won in overtime to advance to the second round.


Sharks' Pavelski Unlikely To Play In Game 1

The San Jose Sharks say Joe Pavelski is unlikely to play in Game 1 of the second round playoff series against the Colorado Avalanche. Pavelski was knocked out and bloodied in the Game 7 clincher against Vegas.


Leafs' Hyman To Undergo ACL Surgery

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman will undergo ACL surgery and is expected to miss the start of the 2019-20 season. The team said Hyman tore his ACL during the first round against the Boston Bruins, but continued playing for the entire 7-game series. Surgery is scheduled for Monday.
