Clay City Jr. High, High School Athletes Honored

CLAY CITY -- Clay City held its Annual Sports and Activity Awards program for the junior high and high school.

Individual awards were given in each sport or activity.

Junior High Softball -- Morgan Hance (pitching, offensive), Gracie Barber (defensive), Maggie Ethridge ("Toughness") and Chelsea Black (Most Improved)

Junior High Baseball -- Daniel Warren (MVP), Drew Lewis ("Yadi"), Matt Sullens (Coaches), Corbin Lewis (Mr. Clutch) and Cayden Craig (Rookie of the Year)

Junior High Basketball -- Drew Lewis (MVP), Gavin Hosselton (Dynamite Defense), Sammie Craig (Internal Fortitude), Cayden Craig (Newcomer of the Year) and Matt Sullens (Big Man of the Year).

Junior High Cheerleading -- Raistlin Noll (Best Personality), Molly Lindeman (Outstanding Voice Project), Bethani Robichaux (Team Spirit) and Keidra Kuenstler (All Star Cheerleader).

Junior High Volleyball -- Isabella Oestreich (Varsity Coaches), Morgan Hance (Killer), Sammie Craig (Most Hustle), Bailey Billingsley (Best Serving) and Taylor Wiley (Most Improved).

Junior High Scolar Bowl -- Daniel Warren (3 year), Chelsea Beck (3 year), Bethani Robichaux (3 year), Matt Sullens (Top Scorer) and Billy Wicke (Rookie of the Year).

High School Volleyball -- Kyle Rauch (Most Improved), Malorie Craig (Top Hitter-Most Kills), Hailey Miller (Most Aces), Gracie Warren (Top Blocker) and Bre Farris (Hustle).

High School Scholar Bowl -- Anden Cartright (MVP)

High School Softball -- players were recognized but no awards given as season is not yet completed).
