The NHL has suspended defenseman Slava Voynov for the 2019-20 season as well as the 2020 playoffs for "unacceptable off-ice conduct."
Voynov hasn’t played in the NHL since he was suspended in October of 2014 while with the Los Angeles Kings when he was arrested following a domestic abuse incident. Voynov was later convicted, although that conviction was dismissed by a judge last July.
