Lightning Signs Coach Cooper To Extension

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed coach Jon Cooper to a multiyear contract extension. Cooper has led the Lightning to the NHL's best record this season and has reached the Eastern Conference finals three of the past four seasons. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
