EHS Fall Sports Banquet, Winter Media Day

Effingham High School's Fall Sports Banquet has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 13 at 6 p.m. in the Effingham High School Hearts Rock Cafe.

This is for fall sports including volleyball, boys golf, girls golf, cross country, soccer, girls tennis and girls swimming.

Niemerg's Steak House will be preparing the meal for the evening. The Effingham Sportbackers will pay for the athletes, coaches and team personnel. All other meals will cost $7 per person. Please have exact change if possible and any checks should be made payable to the Effingham Sportsbackers.

The date for the football and football cheerleaders banquet will be set after the season is completed.

Photo Day

The Effingham High School Photo Day for athletes in boys and girls basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and pom pon has been scheduled for Thursday, November 8.

The photographs will be taken in the EHS Gym at the following times:

3 p.m. -- Varsity boys basketball

3:20 p.m. -- Sophomore boys basketball

3:30 p.m. -- Freshman boys basketball

3:40 p.m. -- Girls varsity and junior varsity basketball

3:50 p.m. -- Freshman/sophomore girls basketball

4 p.m. -- Wrestlng squad

4:10 p.m. -- Cheerleading squad

4:20 p.m. -- Junior Varsity cheerleading squad

4:30 p.m. -- Pom Pon squad
