Teutopolis Wins Fishing Sectional, Advances

Teutopolis High School claimed the championship of the Bass Fishing Sectional at Forbes Lake Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes team of Kendall Tabbert, Jacob Pals, Cauy Hewing and Clint Apke advances.

T-town was followed by Centralia, Robinson, Salem, Carlyle, Flora, Carlyle, Teutopolis, South Central, Patoka, Newton, Patoka, Effingham St. Anthony, Newton and Centralia.

Advancing were the top three teams, T-town, Centralia and Robinson. The alternate team is Salem.

T-town will compete at the Bass Fishing State Finals Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 at Carlyle Lake. The release of boats will be at 7 a.m. T-town is in the first group and will return by 3 p.m.
