Slifer, Sparks Take Firsts At Winter Swim Meet

Gracie Slifer and Tyler Sparks take first place finishes.

The Heartland Hurricanes Swim Club competed at their first meet of the winter swim season in St. Louis, MO on October 6-8th.  This was an age group meet with trophies being awarded to the swimmer with the best time in the pentathlon race (a combined time in five races).

Gracie Slifer took first place in the girls 9 year old penthathlon and Tyler Sparks took first place in the boys 10 year old pentathlon.
