Effingham Junior High Athletic Awards Night was held at the junior high school May 9.

Softball awards went to:

Most Improved -- Seventh-Grade, Rylee Rothrock; Eighth-Grade, Bella Kronewitter

Mustang Spirit Award -- Seventh-Grade, Grace Bushur; Eighth-Grade, Taylor Armstrong

Miss Hustle Award -- Seventh-Grade, Sawyer Althoff; Eighth-Grade, Krysta Dasenbrock

Pitching Award -- Jadi Davis

Defense Award -- Emma Hardiek

Offense Award -- MacKenzie Wittenberg and Jadi Davis
