Avery Braunecker Heading for Olympic Trials

All roads lead to Omaha, Nebraska for this week's Olympic swimming and diving trials, the competition that will decide who will head to Rio de Janeiro for the finals.

Among the competitors this week is Effingham's Avery Braunecker, who qualified to compete in the 50-meter freestyle trials. The past state champion in both the 50-meter and 100-meter events will leave Wednesday morning to prepare for this weekend's competition.
