Several Area Athletes Recognized For Academic Performance at Lake Land College

Several Lake Land College athletes and teams were recognized by the NJCAA for exemplary academic performance.
The Lake Land College baseball and softball teams were named 2016 NJCAA Academic Teams for having a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The baseball team’s GPA was 3.07 and the softball team’s GPA was 3.27.
Fifteen Lake Land College athletes were individually recognized for GPAs ranging from 3.60 to 4.0. Among the honors were Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence, Superior Academic Achievement and Exemplary Academic Achievement.
The following 15 athletes were recognized
2016 NJCAA Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence presented to an athlete with 24 credit hours with a 4.0 GPA:
Courtney Flach, Montrose – Women’s Basketball
Jordan Thoele, Teutopolis – Baseball
2015 NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement presented to an athlete with 24 credit hours with a 3.80-3.99 GPA:
Brittany Fore, Newton – Softball
Haylee Neilson, Salem – Volleyball
Tyler Schuring, Arthur-Lovington – Men’s Basketball
2016 NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement presented to an athlete with 24 credit hours with a 3.60-3.79 GPA:
Kassidy Bonebrake, Crawfordsville, Ind. – Women’s Basketball
Audrey Casey, Toledo – Softball
Hayden Cole, Windsor – Baseball
