Mattoon Downs EHS in Wrestling Action

Effingham High School hosted Mattoon and fell to the Green Wave 45-27 in wrestling competition Thursday evening.

Winning for the Hearts were Zach Keitel in the 120 pound division with a pin in 4:10, Brody Beck in the 126 pound division with a 12-7 decision, Brandon Marschewski at 132 pounds with a 10-9 win, Zane Thilker at 152 with a 5-1 decision and Braden Lawrence at 195 pounds with a pin in 2:49.
