Griffin Paige Claims First At Urbana Wrestling Invite

URBANA -- Effingham High School's Griffin Paige captured first place in the 182 pound division at the Urbana Wrestling Invitational Saturday.

Paige pinned Ryan Dykes of Jacobs in 5:16. He then won over Jesse Hernandez of Leland with a pin in 4:42. The win for the championship game against Jeremy Kragness of Marion, 13-4.

The Hearts' Zane Thilker captured sixth place in the 152 pound division. Thilker lost the opener then claimed two straight wins against Brandon Wells of Charleston, 7-3 and Reese Wggins of Jacobs 4-3.
