Local Sports Calendar

The St. Anthony 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, has been scheduled for St. Anthony High School Saturday, April 30 beginning at 8:30 a.m.

World Youth Day proceeds will help benefit 29 young pilgrims from the Sacred Heart and St. Anthony parishes attending the pilgrimage to see Pope Francis in Poland in 2016.

Age groups include:

Grade School: Fourth through sixth grades, $60 per team.

Junior High: Seventh-eighth grades, $60 per team

High School: Freshman through senior, $80 per team

There will not be a separate bracket for girls. All teams play against each other in their respective bracket.

Prizes include: Grade school-junior high teams get entry fee back, high school winning team receives free indoor/outdoor basketballs and three point shootout winner receives a free indoor/outdoor basketball.
