The Annual Effingham County Right to Life Rummage Slae will be Thursday, March 17 from 7AM-5PM and Friday, March 18 from 7AM-2:30PM at Effingham Knights of Columbus Hall, 1501 W Fayette Ave.
Donations of items will be accepted from 6AM-5PM on Wednesday, March 16. No items will be accepted before that date. Friday will be the $3 bag sale.
Toys, games, small appliances, furniture, drapes, curtains, bedding, clothing, books, plants, crafts, and other items will be accepted. No TVs, Computers, or printers will be accepted. Volunteers will be needed on Wednesday to sort and categorize items. Organizers of the sale would appreciate the help of some strong men on sorting day to move heavy cartons and at 2PM on Friday to help pack leftovers.
Volunteers may work as many hours as their schedule allows and no prior notifications is needed. More information is avaialble by calling Mrs. Jack Koester, 217-857-3060.
Funds from the sale will be used to pay rent for the ECRTL Resource Center located next door to the Heart Theatre in downtown Effingham. It also will be used to purchase literature for pro-life booths at summer fairs, among other educational programs.
