The 2015 IHSRA Rodeo State Finals will be held Thursday, June 18 through Saturday, June 20 at the Effingham County Fairgrounds in Altamont. Today's events include:
6:30-10 a.m. -- IHSRA Scholarship Breakfast at fairgrounds. Open to the public.
7 a.m.-?? -- Community Wide garage sales throughout town.
8 a.m.-noon -- Farmer's Market at Klitzing Park. Fresh produce, baked items and crafts.
9 a.m. -- Queen interviews, formal competition.
Noon -- Rodeo competition (retro/throwback) Third Go Around for Illinois High School contestants.
6 p.m. -- Rodeo competition final round. (Pink/Cancer Awareness) Buy a balloon in honor of someone who has or had cancer and release your balloon in the arena. Arrive early, the evening features the Grand Entry Parade and Crowning of the 2015 IHSRA Rodeo Queen and another round of Mutton Bustin' Sign up from 5-6 p.m. at the rodeo office.
8 p.m. -- Kids Event (Mutton Bustin')
