Local Sports Calendar

Bishop (St. Aloysius Church) will be celebrating its Sesquicentennial this September. The play "Treasure of Shiver River" will be presented June 25-28. Doors open at 7 p.m. for all evening performances June 25-27 which begin at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 for those 21 and over and $10 for those younger. Wine, water, soft drinks and snacks are included with the ticket price. Beer also will be available for purchase.

On Sunday, June 28, a matinee will be presented at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. All ticket prices for the Sunday  matinee will be $10. No alcohol will be provided but soft drinks and snacks are included n the price. Tickets for all performances go on sale June 1.

Stop by the church parish office or phone 925-5788 during business hours Monday through Friday for tickets. After hours and on weekends, phone Ron and Irene Donsbach for tickets at 925-5231. Proceeds will benefit retired Franciscan priests and religious.
