Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1920 Richmond Avenue, Mattoon, will host the Monday, July 21 Prayer Vigil for Life. Father Steven Sotiroff, pastor, will be celebrant and homilist of the 6:30 p.m. Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Praying the Scriptural Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. The 7:30 p.m. business meeting will be conducted in the parish center near the church. Legislative updates, local pro-life events and a report on the 40th Annual Day of Prayer will all be on the evening's agenda. A library of pro-life liternature, books, letter/bumper stickers, book marks and jewelry will be made available. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited to join in prayer to return respect for all life.
