Effingham County Retired Teachers Association will meet Wednesday, April 9 in the private dining room at Ryan's Steakhouse, Effingham. Lunch is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at noon. Guest speaker will be Amanda McKay of Helen Mathes Library. Planned presentations include updates on Illinois pension reform, Teacher Retirement Insurance, Political Actions Committee, pending legislation and more. All county retired teachers are welcome and encouraged to attend. |
