VFW Post 1769 Ladies Auxiliary, will be hosting a dinner, Friday, March 21 from 5PM until 6:30PM. The meal will consist of: Fried Fish or Chicken Parmesan, macaroni & cheese, green beans, deviled eggs, pickled beets, dessert, coffee, tea or lemonade for a $6 donation. Proceeds from this meal will go the The Haven at Carbondale. The Haven, located near Crab Orchard Lake, is a lodge built for veterans who were in the local VA Hospitals and Nursing Homes, all veterans are welcome to use their facilities.
