The annual Effingham County Right to Life Rummage Sale will be held Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14 in the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building, 1501 W. Fayette Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Donations of items will be accepted form 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12. No items will be accepted before that date. It will be $3 Bag Sale all day Friday. Toys, games, small appliances, furniture, drapes, curtains, bedding, clothing, books, plants, crafts and other items will be accepted. No TVs. computers or printers will be accepted. Volunteers iwll be needed Wednesday to sort and categorize items. Organizers of the sale would appreciate the help of some strong men on sorting day to move heavy cartson and at 3 p.m. Friday to help pack leftovers. Funds will be used to pay the rent for the ECRTL Resource Center located next door to the Heart Theatre in downtown Effingham. and to purchase literature for pro-life booths at summer fairs, among other education programs.
