Join Helen Matthes Library staff member, Johnna Schultz and Mr. Science Teacher, Matthew Poston, Thursday, February 6 beginning at 6 p.m. for a discussion of the science behind survival as portrayed in the Clive Cussler book, Arctic Drift.
In addition to discussing the book, we will watch and discuss an interview with the book's author and a short film about people who are "pushing the limits" in their everyday lives. Refreshments will also be served.
Copies of the book are available for check out at the library.
"Pushing the Limits" is a reading, viewing, and discussion program for adults in communities served by rural libraries, made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
