Local Sports Calendar

The Coles County Barbershop Chorus Lenten concert will be held on April 6th at 4pm, at the Mattoon First Baptist Church, 1804 S. 9th St. Mattoon.

The concert will be one hour of sacred and gospel songs sung by the barbershop chorus, quartets and ensembles.

Admission is free and a free-will offering will be taken.  Every penny raised will be given to area food pantries and homeless shelter programs.

The thirty-man chorus and quartet singers are from 19 different towns in central Illinois.
