Free Prenatal Education Classes for Expectant Parents

July-December 2024 Class Dates

Expectant moms can get all their “what to expect when expecting” questions answered by attending any or all of the free prenatal education programs offered by HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.

St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital offers a three-part prenatal education program that is designed to give expectant parents a comprehensive journey through the process of birth and infant care.  This series covers:

• Signs of preterm labor.

• Stages of labor.

• Pain relief options.

• Medical interventions.

• Role of a support person.

• Breathing and relaxing techniques.

• Different birth positions.

• Cesarean delivery.

• Post-partum care.

• Infant care and safety.

This prenatal education series is available free of charge to all expectant parents, even if this is not your first pregnancy.

Prenatal education series schedule for July-December

All classes are held at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital Auditorium:

• Having a Baby Class 1 – July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 7, and Dec. 5

• Having a Baby Class 2 – July 11, Aug. 15, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, and Dec. 12

• Having a Baby Class 3 – July 18, Aug. 22, Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 19, and Dec. 19
