Strasburg Lions “LEO” Club

The Strasburg Lions “LEO” club would like to invite you to help us celebrate the heroics and sufferings of our community and surrounding area’s service men and woman. We are having a Memorial Day Celebration honoring those that have served at home and abroad, currently and from the past. The event will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st, in front of the Veterans Memorial in Strasburg. The program will start at 11:00 am and last about an hour. Lunch will be served after the program by the Strasburg Lions Club. Everyone is invited to stay and eat, with each service person in attendance eating free. This is an outdoor event so please bring your lawn chairs as seating will be limited.

The LEOs are also collecting sponsors for the event. All sponsors will be recognized on the program. Sponsorships can be mailed to; (Strasburg Lions “LEO” Club, P. O. Box 343, Strasburg, Illinois 62465). Checks should be made out to the “Strasburg Lions LEO Club”. Sponsorships could be in memory of any service person or family member. Sponsorship can range from $20.00 for a Bronze sponsor, $30.00 for a Silver sponsor and $50.00 for a gold sponsor. All proceeds from the sponsors will go toward the enhancement of the Veterans Memorial.
