Find Free Help with Effingham County Case Manager If you are in need of help with a new or existing unemployment insurance or PUA claim, then visit the Effingham County Case Manager at the Effingham Public Library Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays from 5 to 7 pm. This is FREE assistance and the case managers work with the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) to find a resolution to the problems you might have. Joanna Davies, Effingham County Case Manager, shared: “We’ve gotten word of people in the area who are charging exorbitant rates for the help that our case managers offer for free. Avoid paying someone who doesn’t have a link to IDES to try to sort out your problem when free help is available.” Effingham County Case Managers also provide free assistance with finding a stimulus payment, applying for social service supports like SNAP or Medicaid, and registering for COVID vaccine appointments. |
