The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce has secured seats for Iceland – A Land of Fire & Ice Trip on October 11-17, 2018.  There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 5:30pm at the Effingham Performance Center.  The public is invited to attend.

Join us on our tour to Iceland, a land of geysers, glaciers, volcanoes, epic sagas, heroic legends, and rich history.  * Visit Tringvelier National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Vikings established the world’s first democratic parliament in AD 930  * View the geothermal pools at Geysir, and marvel at Iceland’s most famous waterfall, Gullfoss * Take a dip in the healing geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon * Drive on Europe’s second largest glacier and much much more… You will be enchanted by the striking and raw beauty of this extraordinary and geologically young island. 

Early bird pricing is available for $3199 if booked before March 30, 2018.  This 7 day, 5 night trip includes hotels, meals, day trips, coach transportation from Effingham and Airfare from St Louis, MO.  A deposit of $500 per person is due upon reservation.
