Free Educational Opportunity at LifeSpan Center

 
Your LifeSpan Center is pleased to announce the following educational opportunity on Wednesday, July 26, 2017:

The Illinois Attorney General’s Office will be holding office hours at your LifeSpan Center.   Ella York, Community Outreach Liaison for the Office of the Attorney General, will be available from 10:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. to provide information about the following common concerns:

• How to protect yourself or a loved one against consumer scams
• Assistance for individuals who are interested in filing a consumer complaint
• How to put your number on the “Do Not Call” telephone registry
• Identity theft
• Mortgage lending
• Home repair
• Health care services and patient rights

If you would like to meet with your Office of the Attorney General Representative, please consider making an appointment by calling 639-5150; appointments will be offered in 15 minute intervals and while walk-ins may be accommodated, first preference will be given to individuals who have an appointment scheduled.
