Local Sports Calendar

We are approaching the beginning of summer and that means that Race Across American (RAAM) will be coming through Effingham again. We will be staffing Time Station 37 at Effingham high school on route 40 adjacent to the Raney Street overpass.

Special Notes

1. Please warn drivers of the bicycles and slower moving traffic travelling west to east through the county
2. The riders will be arriving Monday 06-19-17 through Friday 06-23-17. The majority will be on Wednesday and Thursday
3. Riders will arrive from the west on US route 40 from Greenville
4. They will travel through the city of Effingham on Fayette Avenue.
5. They will leave Effingham on Illinois route 33 toward Newton and on to Robinson. e) The riders will be on the route all hours of the day and night.
