The Coles County Council on Aging is pleased to announce that, once again, free non-denominational Bible studies will be offered at your LifeSpan Center on Wednesdays.

“What Did Jesus Really Say” – A Study of the Book of Matthew

  • Dates: Wednesday mornings beginning April 5, 2017
  • Times: 10:30 - 11:30a.m.
  • Description:Although the Gospel of Matthew was not the first gospel written, it is commonly regarded as the most important and was placed first in the collection of writings that comprise the New Testament. The Gospel of Matthew contains a great number of Jesus' sayings and also a group of stories not found in any of the other Gospels. Matthew contains an extensive account of Jesus' teachings and is considered the most authentic and fundamental doctrine of the Christian religion.
