Greenwood School
The Greenwood Schoolhouse Museum is a one-room country school house built in 1894, originally located in eastern Coles County. It was moved to EIU in 1975 via helicopter! You will learn about the locations and history of one-room schools in Coles County. Those who attended one-room schools will be welcome to share their experiences.
