Joe’s Pizza & Pasta in Effingham  C0TA Fundraiser In honor of Liam Reed Tuesday, August 23

A Joe’s Pizza Fundraiser will be held in honor of Liam Reed, son of Jake and Aiko Reed, grandson of Mike and Jackie Walker and Sam and Michelle Reed.  Jake is a 2001 EHS graduate and currently serves as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.  Jake worked for Joey and Manny back in his high school and college years.  His 8-month old son, Liam, is listed for a liver transplant at Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Funds are being raised for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association in honor of Liam to assist with transplant-related expenses.

Family and friends of Liam and his family want to encourage everyone in the community to attend the upcoming Joe’s Pizza Fundraiser in an effort to give him a second chance at life.  100% of the profits from this event will assist with transplant-related expenses.

Liam was born November 30, 2015 and diagnosed with Biliary Atresia in January of this year.  Liam’s family needs an estimated $50,000 to help pay transplant-related expenses for Liam’s lifetime.  For more information about the event or other fundraising and volunteer opportunities, please contact Mike and Jackie Walker at mjjjb5@gmail.com.
