Local Sports Calendar

There will be a benefit for Steve “ Spanky” Reynolds on Saturday, September 3 at the Stewardson Community Center from 3 p.m.-8 p.m.

You may know Spanky as the guitarist for Midnight Express and for Battle Creek bands.  Steve was diagnosed with Charcot Foot disease.  This disease will cause him to lose his foot to amputation.  Money is being raised to help cover the cost of making his home wheelchair accessible.

Bug Run Registration 3 p.m. / Run will start at 3:30 p.m./ $ 5 Target fee

Scavenger Hunt/ Supper  4-6 p.m.

Raffles/ 50/50/ Silent and Live Auction

Melvin Jr. and Coalshaft Bands will be playing
