Local Sports Calendar

Effingham Public Library will be holding a Book Sale Friday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Featured items include new, nearly new and vintage books in the following categories: history, suspense, cooking, art, house (plans, remodeling and decorating), Christian, large print, children's, politics, military biographies, nature, westerns, sports, travel, woodworking, gardening, romance, sci-fi, self-improvement and more.

No items will be sold prior to the book sale date. Book donations are accepted at the library check out desk during regular library hours. Proceeds from the sale will go toward special projects at the library.
