The Property Tax Town Hall will take place Thursday, June 9 from 6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. at the VFW Hall located at 2304 S. Veterans Drive in Effingham. Topics covered include: How tax exemptions work How to file an appeal regarding your tax assessment Interactive question and answer session Issue: Should the legislature pass a property tax freeze bill?
