St. Anthony Girls Place Seventh at Alton Marquette Golf Tourney

Effingham St. Anthony's girls golf squad finished seventh in the Alton Blastoff Golf Tournament Saturday out of 17 teams.

Top medalist for the Bulldogs was Mariah Bushue with an 86 for 18 holes. Also scoring were Madison Bushue 95, Kyla Burton 105 and Kelsea Dust 106. Non-scorers were Abby Brown 110 and Abbie Schmidt 125.

Winning the tourney was Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin with a 333 followed by Normal University High 334, Alton 354 and Massac County 355 in the top four. Edwardsville's Emilee Flaugher was medalist for the tournament with a one-under-par 71. St. Anthony's score was a 392.
