St. Anthony Win Girls Golf Match

Effingham St. Anthony's Addie Krouse scored a 38 and took first place as the Bulldogs finished with a 170 to beat Robinson with a 223 in girls golf competition at the Effingham Country Club Wednesday.

"Overall it was a great match," said St. Anthony Coach Morgan Briggerman.

Gianna Frisbie finished second with a 42 followed by teammates Brooklyn Phillips with a 44, Tesa Ludwig and Adria Moberly tied for fourth with a 46 each and Mia Schwing in sixth place with a 48. Also competing were Lucy Bierman eighth with a 50 and Lauren Myers tied for 11th with a 61.

Scoring for Robinson were Leah Carroll sixth with a 48, Mya Wright ninth with a 56, Zoe Tuttle 10th with a 58 and Natalie Richards tied for 11th with a 61.

 

At Fairfield

North Clay/Clay City competed at the Clay County Country Club Wednesday.

Riley Poe tied for medalist honors in boys action. Also competing for the Cardinals were Brodie Adair 50 and Hunter Czyzewski 54.

North Clay/s Kennedy Jones shot a 44 to earn medalist honors in the girls meet. Mackenzie Winterrowd had a 52.
