EDWARDSVILLE -- Effingham St. Anthony High School claimed fourth place at the Dick Gerber Boys Golf Invitational Saturday at Belk Park Golf Course.

Chatham Glenwood won the meet with 308 strokes followed by Breese Mater Dei 310, Normal University 310, St. Anthony 311, Mattoon 311, Belleville West 312, O'Fallon 313, Edwardsville 314, Pekin 319, Waterloo 321, Highland 321, Columbia 324, Normal Community 326, Springfield 331, Alton Marquette 333, Quincy 333, Alton 334, Collinsville 336, Edwardsville 2 341, Belleville East 353, Althoff Catholic 355, Father McGivney 356 and Hillsboro 362.

Jack Swingler led the Bulldogs with a 36-39 -- 75. Also scoring were Maddux Clark 37-41 -- 78, Ryan Schmidt 40-38 -- 78 and Joey Trupiano 41-39 -- 80. Others competing for St. Anthony were Dakota Flaig 40-40 -- 80 and Drake Brown 40-42 -- 82.
