St. Anthony JV Wins Boys Golf Match

FLORA -- Effingham St Anthony High School's junior varsity boys golf squad picked up a victory at the Flora Country Club Friday.

The Bulldogs tallied a 162 followed by Flora 169. North Clay and Cisne had golfers compete but not enough for team scores.

Cisne's Hagen Howard was medalist for the event with a 38.

St. Anthony's Ethan Karolewicz and Andrew Meyer had a 39 each. Also scoring were Jameson McAllaster 41.and Alec Hakman 43.

Non-counting scores were Joey C. Trupiano 43, Manaye Mossman 44, Keegan Overbeck 42, Cole Adams 46, Gabe Huebner 46 and Daniel Amos 51.

Scoring for Flora were Kollan McGrew, Andrew Puckett and Maddox Burmeister with a 42 each and Trey Sharp 43.

Non-counters were Noah Hatcher 47, Brayden Lewis 48, Jordan Goecey 48, Alex Treat 50, Javaughny Burkett 53 and Zaiden Lewis 58.

North Clay's competitors were Riley Poe 40, Jacob Arnold 48 and Hunter Czyzewski 59.
